The workshops are intended to offer relaxation and peace of mind. They are for you to be with your intuition and your process. You don’t ‘have to’ anything and nothing is required. They can be booked seperately or can be an addition to your Holistic Therapeutic process.
During this 2 to 2,5 hour long workshop you learn about the history of dreamcatchers from Native American traditions. We will also make a suitable sacrifice to nature for providing the materials. After this, we’ll get to making the dreamcatcher.
The materials we work with are as natural and authentic as possible. Feel free to also bring your own materials to assimilate them into your dreamcatcher; for example beads, rocks or feathers. Please keep in mind that there should be holes in the beads and rocks.
Every dreamcatcher is unique and says something about your process in that moment. After the making of the dreamcatchers, we will take the time to share with each other and to ask questions. It’s totally up to you if and how much you want to share.
Together with Janneke from Praktijk Janneke Hanssen I organize meditation mornings at Camping Landgoed de Gortmeule.
Meditation provides calmness, balance and a clear mind. By meditating you distance yourself from your thoughts and you observe them without judgement. The more you practice this, the easier it’ll be. You’ll notice that it gives you more peace of mind, relaxation and it’ll help deal with negative thoughts and experiences.
We work with different meditation techniques and alternate them.
Gain more understanding about your process by expressing yourself creatively starting from a guided meditation. The workshop will be about 2 to 2,5 hours in which you go on a journey via a guided meditation. Then you’ll shape this journey by using creative means. This can be paint, crayon, pencil, marker or a combination of them.
Afterwards we will take the time to share with each other and to ask questions. It’s totally up to you if and how much you want to share.
You don’t need to have any knowledge about the creative means and you don’t ‘need to be able to draw or paint’.
