As a Holistic Therapist, I look at you as a whole to identify and treat the cause of your symptom(s). Together, we will get to the root of things, the underlying cause of your discomfort so that it can be seen, treated and healed.
Holistisch Therapy
What is Holistic Therapy?
Holism takes into account five interconnected levels: physical (bodily), emotional (emotions), mental (thoughts, beliefs), energetic (meridians, chakras), and spiritual (the deeper cause of the issue). As a Holistic Therapist, I look at you as a whole so not just focusing on isolated symptoms. Together, we explore the underlying cause so that it can be acknowledged, understood, treated, and healed.
In this process, I utilize various therapies and techniques, including talk therapy, mindfulness, and other complementary approaches.
Who is it for?
Holisitc Therapy can be used to address a wide range of complaints and symptoms. For example, if you feel like you’re not quite yourself, experiencing continuous fatigue, or simply not feeling well without a clearly identifiable cause. Or if you have a very clear, concrete complaint but haven’t found a solution for it yet. Holistic Therapy fits well in these scenarios and can complement conventional medicine.
What does this look like?
Your first appointment for holistic therapy is a (free!) intake session. In the confirmation email for the appointment, you’ll receive a link to a comprehensive questionnaire. By filling this out beforehand, we save time during the appointment. We’ll discuss your answers, I’ll ask some more in depth questions, and there will be time and space for anything else that comes up. During this session, I’ll also conduct an energetic scan to gather information on other levels. Together, we’ll search for what’s behind your question, the deeper cause of your discomfort. Then, we’ll discuss treatment options and establish them. Each treatment process is different because it’s tailored to your personal situation. A holistic treatment session consists of multiple treatment methods that are used as needed.
Practical:
A consultation can take place at your home or at the Wildgroei practice in Swolgen and lasts a maximum of 90 minutes.
Reiki is a form of alternative medicine that originated in Japan. The word “Reiki” is composed of two Japanese characters: “rei,” which stands for universal or divine, and “ki,” which stands for life energy. Reiki is translated as “universal life energy.”
Reiki is the universal life energy that flows through all living beings. This energy is essential for our well-being and health. When life energy is blocked or does not flow freely, it can lead to physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual imbalance and possibly illness.
When life energy can flow freely, you are better able to heal yourself and recover. By offering Reiki energy during a treatment, you are immersed in an abundance of positive energy that can support the natural healing process.
During a Reiki treatment, I place my hands on certain parts of your body or hold them just above to promote the flow of life energy and release any blockages. This process can help balance the body’s energy centers, such as the chakras, and improve overall energetic health. By stimulating the body’s self-healing ability, Reiki can help alleviate not only physical ailments but also reduce emotional and mental tensions.
It is often used to support general well-being and as complementary therapy for various conditions. Additionally, many people also find benefit in the relaxation and sense of well-being it can provide.

Reiki Remote healing
A Reiki treatment can also be given remotely. Including a pre and post-session discussion over the phone, this treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes.
What this entails?
The appointment begins with a brief conversation and a cup of tea so that we can set an intention for the treatment together. After a short breathing exercise, you will then lie fully clothed on the treatment table while we tune into you.
We alternate between sound healing and energetic work, using instruments such as singing bowls, koshi chimes, and ocean drums. The vibrations from these instruments help move the water in your body, releasing blockages. By combining this with an energetic treatment, we clear blockages and stimulate the self-healing ability, bringing you back into balance. This treatment works on the physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual levels.
Why a Duo Treatment?
Aside from having the opportunity to meet two therapists at once, together we create a beautiful, powerful energy field dedicated to you and the shared intention for the treatment. We use our therapeutic skills, intuitive abilities, and the life energy all around us. By combining our abilities and qualities, we create an equation of 1+1=3. This is the power of Being Together in Connection.
Practical:
The appointment takes place at Wildgroei, located at Akkerweg 1 in Swolgen, and takes one hour. The treatment is suitable for 1 or 2 persons.
Please note!
Singing bowls are evocative tools, meaning they are opening, provide insight, can evoke memories, and possibly amplify them. People with traumatic experiences, phobias, or fears may experience a temporary increase in symptoms after a treatment with singing bowls.
There are also additional risks for people with a psychotic vulnerability, epilepsy, a pacemaker, thrombosis, and pregnant women up to the sixth month.
If you still wish to participate, this is at your own discretion and risk.
I’ll happily come work a shift/help out. I’ve had years of experience working in ambulant care and with working in a 24hour care setting both in mental health and youth care (age 15+). I am SKJ registered.
